Keith Grant – lead vocals/bass. Don Craine – rhythm guitar/autoharp/lead vocals. Terry Gibson – lead guitar. Johnny Sutton – drums.
That kind of thing happened a lot in those days. Mr bossman refunded my £20 for the Sect LP so we were all happy in the end. TLDR - I got this Downliners Sect free as part of a weird-bad-deal-gone-right in the 90s.

The Downliners Sect’s 2004 Las Vegas gig was a craic, and Keith and I playing Tokyo with Thee Headcoats, as Thee Headcoats Sect, was real fun. In the sixties I enjoyed a tour we did with Memphis Slim, the Graham Bond Organisation, Long John Baldry and the Hoochie Coochie Men, Rod Stewart, and Jimmy Powell and the Five Dimensions.
