Aug 26, 2022 · There are numerous videos out there that show the steps and techniques. On smaller, simpler surfaces (flatter), getting good results is easier for a DIY. Use a quality film. I have had 3M film on one vehicle (full hood, front fenders, front facia) for 5-1/2 years with no problems. Film looks as good as when it was installed.
