Francesco Di Rosa was born in the Italian town of Montegranaro in 1967, he was very young when he started to study the piano and then he moved on to the oboe at the age of eleven. He studied with Fabio Fabrizzioli and graduated with Luciano Franca in 1986, with top marks and honour, at the "G. Rossini" Conservatory in Fermo.
