- Michelle Bartsch-Hackley. Bartsch-Hackley nearly made her Olympic debut in 2016. She was considered Team USA’s next-best outside hitter behind the three that were named to the roster for the Rio Games.
- Annie Drews. Drews joined Team USA in the summer of 2017, the year after the Rio Games. She was a late add to the program that season, as she had to wait for the completion of the playoffs in the Puerto Rico professional league.
- Micha Hancock. That Hancock eventually would land a spot on Team USA’s Olympic roster has long seemed inevitable. Hancock, 28, began her trajectory as a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year as a high schooler in Oklahoma.

USA Baseball Reveals 2024 Women's National Team Roster. USA Baseball today announced the roster for the 2024 Women’s National Team competing in the World Cup Finals, July 28-August 3, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The USA Baseball Women's National Team was established in 2004, when an 18-player team was chosen following open tryouts across the nation.
