The first four songs provided a false security by being every bit the Cracker soul of the early 90s, then the Randy Johnson analogy became apt. Beyond the first third of the album, Greenland becomes an aimless amalgam of psychedelic, progressive, classic jam rock supported by over-inflated rambling lyrics. Jun 6, 2006 · The music of Cracker has always seemed like a sound track to me, and on this release even more so. It’s as if it took them fourteen years to hit their stride, and if they keep putting out tunes like this, I don’t mind in the least.
