Greenland is very similar in tone and quality to the band's 1993 career highlight Kerosene Hat – it's vast and sprawling and covers a multitude of musical styles. Primarily, Greenland can be classified as country rock – with the emphasis on the rock - but with some Middle Eastern, Far Eastern and Jamaican touches that lift it way above the competition.

Jun 6, 2006 · The music of Cracker has always seemed like a sound track to me, and on this release even more so. It’s as if it took them fourteen years to hit their stride, and if they keep putting out tunes like this, I don’t mind in the least.
