They've stretched out on this one, more control, more emphasis, more determination. Like Dylan they have delivered something completely different and completely Cracker.

Cracker is an American rock band formed in 1990 by lead singer David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman. The band's first album Cracker was released in 1992 on Virgin Records ; it included the single " Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now) ", which went to #1 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart.

Aesthetically, the disc is Cracker's most expansive, indulging its curiosities while still holding true to the group's established flavor. Lauren Hoffman's B3 organ adds a Band-like openness to the sound, as well. And Lowery has penned his best set of songs in ages, finding great hooks regardless of mood.
