That still does not contradict the larger theory of Rahman Khan being a Brit spy, unless your book specifically says so. Congress disliked INA as much as the Brits. And as for Pranab's voyages, he still did not have any pull in INA or the ear of Bose himself. Rahman Khan, on the other hand, was an insider to INA, and close to Bose.
