The People's Park is a park in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. It was given to the people of Halifax in 1857 by local carpet manufacturer Sir Francis Crossley. The park was originally designed by Joseph Paxton, [1] but suffering neglect in the late 20th century until a major restoration project which started in 1995. [2]

People's Park is a public park of around 5.5 hectares laid out in 1856 by Sir Joseph Paxton and Edward Milner and opened in 1857. It was donated by the local manufacturer Sir Francis Crossley. After a period of decline the park has recently (from 1995) undergone restoration.
