Dec 11, 2023 · Hampden beat Camden Hills in the quarterfinals, a rematch of the 2022 regional title game, and then took down top-seeded John Bapst in the semifinals. Despite losing to Messalonskee in the finals, the Broncos have a ton of returning talent that had a lot of significant minutes a year ago; they've all got a lot of experience together, and that goes a long way, too.

Dec 17, 2023 · The game ended in a 8-3 win for Hampden Academy, bringing them to 1-1, 1-0 in Class B North, while Presque Isle fell to 0-2. Hampden outshot the Wildcats 39-24, and sophomore goalie Aiden Surran made 21 saves. The Broncos will have a full week to recover before hosting the Houlton/Hodgdon BlackHawks on Saturday, December 23.
Feb 27, 2024 · BANGOR - No. 3 Hampden Academy boys hockey defeated No. 6 John Bapst 2-1 on Tuesday in the B North quarterfinal round. The Crusaders made their presence known early with a goal from Will Bourgeois just two minutes into the first period to make it 1-0. Four minutes later, The Broncos knotted things up at 1 with a Keith Brooks goal.

Jan 2, 2024 · BANGOR - Hampden Academy boys hockey defeated Camden Hills 5-4 on Tuesday night to move to 3-2 on the year. Down 2-1 after the first period, the Broncos took a 4-2 lead into the third after two goals from junior Boston Merrow and one goal from senior Keith Brooks.
