Apr 22, 2024 · Unlike some rivals, the Empyrean II work well on a wide range of head sizes. Customers have a choice of cable when ordering the product. There are two types of conductors – copper and silver-plated copper – and five connection options (3.5mm, 6.3mm, 4.4mm, XLR-4 and 2.5mm).
The ear cups are a highly precisioned CNC sculpted chassis, milled from a single piece of aluminum. According to Meze, each sculpted Empyrean aluminum skeleton takes about 20 hours to mill. You can see a video of the milling process for the Empyrean at the end of this review.
Jan 16, 2024 · The Empyrean IIs are large headphones, without any noise cancellation, and clearly intended for indoor use and serious listening. Although a bulky design, the weight is well dispersed through the over-sized headband and there’s no unpleasant pressure on the cranium.

In terms of looks, the Empyrean 2 again is a gorgeous headphone with a lovely design, incorporating unique features. On first glance it resembles the Empyrean and ELITE headphone but there are some refined differences.
