- Nightmare Foxy. Nightmare Foxy is a decaying, terror-inducing animatronic with crowed, sharp pointed teeth lining his jaw, and his signature hook hand. Nightmare Foxy is dealing with much more wear and tear than his previous game counterparts and even has exposed wiring around his jaw and ears.
So, FNAF 4. Certainly an interesting game, almost to its detriment. FNAF 4 is probably the vaguest entry in the Five Nights at Freddy´s series. Almost seven years after its initial release, it still causes a lot of discourse amongst the theory crafting side of the community, causing several debates regarding almost every aspect of this game.
After thinking about it constantly, and trying out the different possibilities, I believe that the story in FNAF 4 is indeed an origin story, which changes the way the initial "trilogy" is framed. Throughout the game, the child encounters something corresponding to all of the major figures across the first three games.
