Outside of crosswords, Sharp teaches English at Binghamton University in New York.
Jun 8, 2012 · jae 12:25 AM . Another pretty easy Fri. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting used to looking for the familiar answer for a WTF clue. For example, REDA was a gimme and a four letter crossword sitcom beginning with R = REBA no matter how obscure the clue.
Rex Parker enjoys plenty of NYT puzzles. Fewer than I do, perhaps, but when I want validation that a grid is lazy or relies overly on obscura or crosswordese or "whack a vowel" answers, I'm happy he's in my corner. I don't think he's wrong to suggest the NYTXW should be consistently better. 17.
