The Ohio EBT Card, known as the Ohio Direction Card, is like a bank debit card and holds the food assistance also known as SNAP benefits assigned to you each month. Once your benefits are deposited into your account, you can begin using them with your Ohio Direction Card. You use the same card every month; you do not need to get a new one.
Call the Ohio EBT hotline number at 1-866-386-3071. Your state may require you to change your PIN, report your card stolen, and/or request a new card. If your benefits were electronically stolen in or after October 2022 (e.g., through skimming or phishing), you may be eligible to apply for reimbursement. Learn more about your state’s process.
Never share your EBT card or cash card number or PIN if you are asked for it through an email, text message, or phone call. If you believe your benefits were stolen, change your Ohio Direction Card and Way2Go™ card PIN right away, then ask for a new EBT card or cash card by calling 866-386-3071 for SNAP, or 866-320-8822 for cash cards.
