- Work Out Your Living Expenses. Being a musician is expensive. Even if your cost of living is relatively low, you will constantly need to make upgrades and changes to your gear.
- Start With GREAT Music and Keep Improving Your Skills. This may sound like a cliché, but practice really does make perfect. You may be full of talent but that will not get you very far if you do not spend time honing your skills.
- Create An Online Presence. Social media is an important part of our lives these days. As an artist, apart from being a stellar performer to watch live, you must also have a carefully curated online presence that is relatable to your fans.
Oct 4, 2024 · Develop good practice habits and routines for yourself. Always practice using good posture, warm up beforehand, and try practicing for at least 20-40 minutes each day. If you are really serious about music, you can aim to practice about 2-3 hours a day, but with work and school it would get a little bit challenging.
