Apr 8, 2022 · First connect the Atari to the antenna in coaxial connector in the back of the VCR. You either need one of those switch boxes that used to come with an Atari or even better is the F connector. For the F connector you connect that directly to the cable coming out of the Atari then connect that to the back of the VCR as I described above.
Apr 9, 2024 · If my understanding of the pictures is correct, you have the 2600's RF output cabled directly to the input on the VCR marked 'AERIAL' and are taking video out of the recorder via the LINE OUT output to the TV. A couple of things come to mind:

If you use the $5 adapter, and see nothing because your TV is looking for channels, the workaround for this is to use a VCR. Run your Atari into the VCR and then use the VCR's RCA output (the red yellow and white things) to go into your TV. You can also solder in an RCA out with a mod.
