Nov 2, 2023 · I'm trying to set up my email in the new Outlook that is replacing Mail in Windows. I read somewhere here that I needed to go to my Virgin Media Account Settings and to 'Generate new App password'.
From a laptop or desktop computer, click the cogwheel icon, or from a Mobile tap the top right circle icon. Select the Settings menu option. Select Accounts in the side menu. Select Edit or the pencil icon next to the account you want to change the settings on – this will pop up with the mail account settings.
