   • To prep headstock for logo application, lay down a couple of coats and flatten I don’t like to apply the decal to bare wood so a few coats of lacquer are needed. Just enough build to be able to sand back flat. Spray a few coats, wait a couple of days and sand it flat so there are no dips or shiny spots where your decal will go.

   Is the logo under the finish? If so, just spraycan a couple of light coats on it and finish with fast dry laquer. Other option would be to wrap the headstock with vinyl (imagine wrapping a car). I've seen people do it on their guitars and it looks great! One of my bandmates has a carbon fibre wrapped axe and it's a beauty.
