I was able to import the .mcworld file by doing this. Taping the file would open Minecraft but the import would always fail. I used Chunker to convert my Java world to Bedrock. Upload the .mcworld file to your iCloud Drive. Use the Files app to rename it from world-name.mcworld to world-name.zip and extract it.
