Feb 2, 2022 · on iPhone, go to Settings / Music. Selected "Downloaded Music" and on the Downloaded music screen, left swipe the "All Songs" row to display the red Delete button. Press Delete to delete your entire music library off the iPhone. Sync again from iTunes to iPhone. Problem should be resolved (was on my iPhone 13)
If so, I had this exact same problem when switching from my 2020 SE to a 13. The only way to fix it for me was to remove all the music files from my phone AND the iTunes library (keep them on your PC/Mac, though), and add them back in the iTunes library. Then resync with your phone and the album covers should be fixed.

Jun 1, 2023 · Just follow these steps to do it: Open the Photos app, then head to Albums. Select the album whose cover photo you want to change. Find the photo that you want to be the new cover photo. Tap and hold the image until a popup menu appears. Select Make Key Photo. This chosen photo will now replace the album's old cover photo.
