These mods still are not updated to 1.4.4 version. About characters and worlds you can try switching to 1.4.3 version in Steam's game beta versions properties or you can move them: 'Documents\My Games\Terraria' from 'tModLoader 1.4.3' folder (or something like that) to 'tModLoader' folder (I am not sure if this works because my worlds and characters were automatically transferred).

Apr 16, 2020 · Hey, i've been using Tmod loader for my mods for a while now and have updated it and installed mods multiple times successfully, recently in my expert playthrough containing: Calamity mod / Calamity no music / Joost Mod / Thorium / Cheat sheet / Lui AFK /boss checklist and other small mods like magic storage and boss health bar.
Jun 28, 2022 · I'm having the same calamity-based mod problem, wish there was a more clear answer on this. Edit: I fixed it by uninstalling "Infernum mode music", but it might not be the only problem, and even with this when I load into the game my inputs do not work at all aside from mouse.
tModLoader updated on October 1st 2023. This meant that lots of mods had to adapt to the update, and for small mods, such as Recipe Browser, that is fairly easy, however for larger content mods, such as Calamity, it can take some time. Just be patient and eventually it will work :)
3 days ago · As you may have noticed, Mods no longer work with the new *Repentance+* online update. UNFORTUNATELY, Mods will not work with the new online feature with friends or on the new update in general until mod creators have the time to update their respective mods with the updated API and such they will persist to be unusable.
