The Desert Valley Hospital Financial Assistance Program applies to uninsured or underinsured patients who come to our facilities for emergency or other medically necessary treatment. This program provides financial relief to patients who qualify based on a comparison of their financial resources and/or income to Federal Poverty Level guidelines.
Patients who qualify get some or all of their costs covered regardless of whether they have healthcare coverage, or are uninsured, or are underinsured. Have questions? For more information or if you need assistance, call our Hospital Business Office at 760-843-5000 .

The Self-Pay Charity Discount Program is for self-pay patients who do not qualify for another funding source. The level of discount is based on the Federal Poverty Income Level, Dallas County residency status and type of healthcare services provided.
If you are uninsured, we offer a discount on medically necessary services. Please speak to a financial counselor and review our financial assistance policy. Understand your estimate.
You will receive a free meal for each four-hour shift, a hospital pharmacy discount and are welcome to attend periodic lectures and special events. What are the hours? You can volunteer as few as one or two hours per week.
