Jun 22, 2024 · Here’s how I get topography on Google Earth: I start by opening Google Earth Pro. This is the version of Google Earth that allows you to add USGS Topographic maps. Once Google Earth Pro is open, I select “View” on the top menu and then click on “Google Earth”. The topographic map will then be placed in your Temporary Places menu in the sidebar.
