   How much does Presto cost?

   • $3.30 will be charged to your card. This is the same as the adult PRESTO fare. A two-hour transfer will automatically be applied to your card when you tap on a reader. Make sure you tap with the same card each time you transfer within the two-hour period, or else you will be charged a new fare.

   How does Presto work?

   • PRESTO uses smartcard technology to collect and process payments. With a single card, you can pay fares on several transit systems – no cash, or paper tickets/passes required. The card stores a pre-loaded dollar amount called your card balance. Each time you travel, the cost of the trip is deducted from your card’s balance.
