Nov 7, 2023 · How to Get Around Paris for a Day. I’ve designed this Paris in 1 day itinerary to be 100% walkable. But you’re bound to end the day with your feet on fire, I have to admit. There’s no need to worry though, as public transportation in Paris is a breeze with an extensive and efficient network.
- Enjoy A sunrise at the Trocadero. To make the most of your one day trip to Paris, leave your hotel before dawn! Put on your best walking shoes and head to the Trocadero for a memorable sunrise in front of Paris’ most emblematic monument!
- Get an Upclose look at the Eiffel Tower From Champs de Mars. Once you have admired the sunrise, go down the stairs, and cross Pont Iéna. This bridge, listed as a historical monument and decorated with four large statues of knights, is the first bridge built in tribute to Napoleon’s victory in Iéna in 1806.
