Most (all?) of the time, this is caused by accurate emulation of the video processorin a real console. In other words, the same thing would happen on a real TV. SinceStella is all about emulating a real console as closely as possible, this is not a bug,and won't be 'fixed'. Technically, it is known as HMOVE blanking, the specificsof which you can f...

Locating Game Images (aka ROMs) Cartridges. Most games for the Atari 2600 came on cartridges. To make your life a whole lot easier, the Space bar is for firing, F2 is the “reset” button (needed to start some games), the arrow keys are for movement, F9 is for save state, F11 is for the load state and Esc. is to get out of the game. Now, all you need to do is double-click on a ROM image to start your game. That’s it! Happy gaming! FAQ

These games push the limits of the emulator. To run these advanced arm-assisted games, you will need a DSi or greater running either Twilight Menu++ or Unlaunch to unlock the 2X CPU (134MHz).
