Jun 6, 2024 · How to download and install Terraria mods. 1. Download the mod from the CurseForge website. 2. Open tModLoader. 3. Click on Workshop > manage mods. 4. Open mods folder. 5. put mods in C:\Users\[Your user]\Documents\My Games\Terraria\tModLoader\Mods. 6. Relaunched tModLoader. Help the Terraria map/mod isn't working!
If you don't know how to do this, you can find the files by: Going into your game library and right clicking on Terraria. Click on "Properties" at the bottom. A seperate menu will pop open. Go into the "Local Files" tab. And click on "Browse Local Files". Once there, right click on the Terraria Icon and copy it. Then, paste it into the same files.

Here are some important things to know when you Install and get ready to dive into tModLoader:
•You do not have to make any backups
•Simply update Terraria to 1.4 and install tModLoader on Steam
•You can play vanilla Terraria and TML alongside each other; tModLoader through Steam is treated as a separate game.
•tModLoader supports Terraria 1.3 and 1.4
•Steam Workshop is supported (but not required, we have an in-game mod browser)

Nov 10, 2024 · Import Pack (Local) - Tells tModLoader to check the mod pack for the frozen set of mods to load. Any mods loaded from the Pack, while active, will override any existing mods you have downloaded. When a Mod Pack is active, it will shows as such in the Top Right Corner. Remove Pack (Local) - Undoes the changes made by Import Pack (Local)
