I like it in Fallout 4, because when you're leg cripples, you limp at realistic speed and the animation for limping looks more dramatic. However, you'll notice that that left arm will never ever break again and the health bar in pip-boy for that arm will always stay the same.

Nov 11, 2015 · Of course I don't know that it re-damaged the limbs because they never changed status. Using player.resethealth console command. Using player.sexchange console command to switch genders and then back. using the advlevel command (to increase level, because that heals you too). So far, still have crippled arm and head.
