Cripple a leg and they will start to limp. They can only move very slowly and will drag their leg behind them. Cripple an arm and they will lose accuracy, but can still shoot a gun if they have one. They are very likely to drop their weapon, but might pick it back up if they live long enough. This is all humans mind you.

However, you'll notice that that left arm will never ever break again and the health bar in pip-boy for that arm will always stay the same.
I like it in Fallout 4, because when you're leg cripples, you limp at realistic speed and the animation for limping looks more dramatic. I feel more of a difference in my accuracy when my arms are crippled, and I really feel like I'm having a concussion when my head is crippled. Jun 17, 2016 · Ashnal. 23. Posted June 17, 2016. Limbs aren't crippled by chance. They're crippled when they lose all their HP. You can make crippling limbs easier by either increasing the limb damage guns do via magic effect, or lowering their health percentage via body part data.
