A PowerPoint presentation can include sounds from various sources: narration and transition sounds, audio objects, videos and emphasized text. Animations can play sounds as well. You can remove all the sounds from your presentation one type of sound at a time; unfortunately, there is no option to remove all sounds from all slides automatically.

Aug 17, 2012 · I recorded audio for a PowerPoint presentation and now a colleague wants me to send the presentation to him. The file is currently 18 MB and I want to get it down to handy 1 or 2MB by stripping the audio. The only way I see is to remove the audio in the animation bar slide by slide. Stripping notes can be done by the "inspect document" feature.
