Sep 22, 2021 · Reading the Bible is about more than simply reading—it’s about understanding. Some of my most profitable times of study have come after I asked a question of the text and pursued the answer. These are just five tips for studying the Bible effectively.
1. Set clear goals. 2. Create a schedule. 3. You need to find the right place to study the Bible. 4. Use a daily Bible reading plan or guide. 5. Start with small, manageable goals. 6. Choose a study method or plan. 7. Journal and reflect. 8. Seek accountability and community. 9. Prioritize consistency over quantity. 10. Stay flexible and adaptable.
Daily Bible study is ideal, but not everyone’s life allows for this deep kind of study to happen every day. That is okay. I teach a system of creating a Bible study routine that works for all lifestyles and you can dive deeper into that in this blog post.
