Web Forms is a free and secured application that allows you create your information return in XML format in order to file electronically to CRA. Filing with Internet file transfer: Option 2. Internet file transfer allows you to use payroll, commercial, or in-house developed software, to submit an XML file of up to 150 MB over the Internet.

Dec 18, 2023 · On Web Forms – what do you want to do page, select "Continue a return from the saved .xml file that has not yet been submitted to the CRA" and click "Next". On Web Forms – continue with unsubmitted return page, click "Choose File" to open your computer browser and select the unsubmitted .xml file previously created with Web Forms. Click "Next".
Jan 11, 2024 · Here's how to submit your employees's T4 slips and T4 Summary to the CRA: After downloading the XML file in the steps above, navigate to the CRA Filing Information Returns Electronically page on the CRA website. Select Internet file transfer. This is the only selection QuickBooks Online supports at this time.
In the navigation bar, click Taxes > Payroll Tax. Click Annual Forms. Click T4 slip (employer) to prepare an employer copy of all your T4 slips to submit to the CRA. On the page for the form, click View to open the form in Adobe Acrobat. Make sure all the information is correct. When you are done, close the window. In the T4 window, click Submit.

Before Internet filing slips or information returns in the FX (Forms Expert) or T3 module, you need to complete the Electronic Filing Options form under EFILE. Provide your transmitter identification information (name, address, transmitter number, etc.) under the Transmitter tab. The information entered here will be used in the XML file generated.
