- You can transfer to another Transit Agency using your card balance or a Brampton Transit pass loaded on your PRESTO card. A 2-hour transfer is valid from the time of issue. Your card can be loaded with both a card balance and one transit pass per Transit Agency.

If you ordered a card with a My PRESTO Account from the PRESTO website, you'll need to activate it before you ride. Cards purchased in person are already activated. Activate your card online, through PRESTO’s Chat feature, or by calling PRESTO at 1-877-378-6123 and following the automated instructions.

If you purchase a new card in person from a Customer Service Outlet, you can transfer your balance online or by phone at 1-877-378-6123. Please do not register your new card or add a period pass, or set up Autoload/Autorenew as this is done automatically for you as part of the card replacement process.
