Aug 30, 2021 · With the enhanced PRESTO app, customers can now load their PRESTO card (s) with funds or transit passes, by simply holding their PRESTO card to the back of their smartphone. That means you can top up your card from wherever you are, and the funds will instantly be available.
Note: There is no need to transfer the school board pass to the new card as this is already done by PRESTO. For faster replacement, go to an OC Transpo Customer Service Centre or to authorized retail locations and buy a replacement card for $6.
As soon as you receive your card, you should register it at prestocard.ca or complete a paper Presto registration form and mail it to the Presto Customer Service Centre. Registration lets you: Transfer funds to a new card if your card is lost or stolen; Access your Transit Usage Report for tax credit purposes
