Video visitation does not replace in-person visits but it gives visitors another way to communicate with an inmate. An inmate must first complete an Inmate Video Visitation Application before you can visit with them via video. It can take up to two weeks for the application to be approved.

However, the length of these visits depends on the unit where the inmates are housed. Sentenced inmates are permitted two, 40-minute visits per week behind glass.
