M61 is absolutely worth the price, one of the best ammos in the game. If you already have your sniper skill leveled up for the quest (level 7), then yes. Otherwise, you would have to decide between leveling it up manually or getting to level 4 and spending 50k euros with the mentor quest to get there quickly.

The only "real" way to get decent amounts of M80/ M62 is to get Peacekeeper LL4 and buy it. There's not much you can do about it except not running 7.62x51 until you have Peacekeeper 4 (early wipe FMJ is pretty decent if you're ahead of the curve, but we're way past where that's viable).
