Clean Soft Towel. Installation. Clean the surface where you’ll be installing the body side molding. Check the installation sheet that comes with the kit to ensure proper measurements. Make two marks with the grease pencil to indicate where the molding will begin and end along the side of your car. Connect the marks using masking tape.
Step 3. Cut the molding to the proper lengths to fit where it’s needed. We recommend using shears for a clean, quick cut. Peel the backing off of the first stretch of body side molding to be applied, then begin sticking it to the vehicle at the pre-set line.

Jun 7, 2024 · Bolt the door holder in place. Reconnect the door wiring. Plug the new door connector into the car body connector (if your door connector involved more than one tab, make sure to push both tabs into position). Push the rubber wiring tube into it’s recess in the new car door.
