- Look for a mismatch between words and expressions. If the words coming out of a person’s mouth don’t seem to match their expression, it could be a sign they’re lying.

- They give way too much information. This one might seem counterintuitive but it’s true. TMI can be a sign of lying. People who are lying want you to believe what they're saying and don't want you to get suspicious, so sometimes they tend to overdo it on the details.
