It is not a good practice. Nope. Even if you lift a 65 inch TV alone, the force you put on both the sides while lifting might damage the panel. One person lift only ends in tears. We recently set up a 65” and I really don’t think it could be done with one person.
Most people just take it out of the box at the store then put the TV in the car/truck and fold the box up in the back. That is what I did with my first flat panel TV, I put it in with screen facing the back of the seats and used the seat belts to secure.
