Flood Escape: Classic (FE:C for short) is a parkour-puzzle survival game created by Crazyblox. It is the first game that has been created in this series, and is the predecessor to Flood Escape 2.

Locked in a flooding facility, you and your team must work together to push buttons, find the way out, crack the code and escape before the flood takes you!

Flood Escape: Classic started development in September 2011, and is what kickstarted the Flood Escape series.

FEC persisted through many of Roblox's fundamental changes; Mobile Support, Dynamic Lighting, Filtering Enabled and many more.

While the game doesn't get updated often now due to focus on FE2, FEC's continued community and player count shows that the game continues to offer a solid experience for obby enthusiasts.

In this game, players aim to escape a facility by solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles before they are drowned by a flood. Falling into the water results in immediate drowning. Each round consists of 4 rooms, and players can earn points and wins to purchase cosmetics and gears from the shop.

To escape the game, you and up to 8 players must press buttons in each room to progress to the next one. When the water level rises, those not in the exit area perish, and if survivors remain, the next room unlocks. In the fourth room, players must solve a puzzle by pressing buttons on each side to open the exit door while the water rises behind them.

Flood Escape: Classic has 4 difficulties, Easy, Medium, Hard and Extreme. The first 3 are found in the main building, which has 3 elevators for each difficulty.

In the Code Breaker room, the number of buttons vary depending on the difficulty. Easy has 3 buttons each side, Medium has 3 on the left and 4 on the right, and Hard has 4 on both sides.

The 4th difficulty requires 10 Wins or the Unlock Extreme gamepass. This difficulty is vastly different from the other difficulties, as it challenges the player in every combination of skill, Rooms in Extreme Mode are much larger than the generic rooms of multiplayer modes, and the setting is darker. Another difference is that the player won't automatically drown in contact with the flood.

In Extreme Mode, there are also no gears, no other players, incredibly hard jumps and the player needs good memorization. There are currently 2 Extreme rooms, but due to Flood Escape 2's existence, Extreme rooms 3, 4, and 5 will likely never release.

'Scattered Platforms' and 'Round n' Round' are not available in Single Player Practice mode because Round n' Round uses Roblox Physics to a bad degree and Scattered Platforms relies on a script to progress.

Training Mode is a mode in Flood Escape: Classic. It is accessed via the basement of the main building or the door on the sides of the main lobby.

The area specifically trains players so that they become better at the game. By completing tasks in this mode, you earn Training Points. These training points can then be exchanged for normal points (15 Training Points for 1 Point). There are 3 different courses in Training Mode, Agility, Code Cracker and Reaction.

Bonus rounds were extra rounds that you play if you pressed 6 buttons and survived. You must beat these in the time limit of the bonus map to get an additional win. They were removed in update v2019.1 (3/8/2019).

  5. The Guide is an interactive NPC that wanders around the lobby. He will give advice to newer players. "Welcome to Flood Escape! How can I help?" "How Do I Play?" "I have an idea for this game!" "Goodbye!" - Ends the conversation. "There are 5 Modes in this Game. Which one do you need help with...
