I write PO for pickoff. This is what I do I write PO1. It's not a caught stealing if it's a dive back situation. And if it's a throw to first and the runner takes off, if the first baseman throws it away, it's still a pickoff for the pitcher. Score it PO 1-3, for the dive back style.
