    • Locate, Mark, and Cut the Damaged Section. You will need to be careful to remove all of the damaged film, so be thorough when identifying all the area that is damaged.
    • Moisten the Section to be Removed. Spray a fine mist of water on the edges of the cut area to soften and loosen the film; do not use window cleaner that contains ammonia.
    • Remove the Film. Use the corner of your razor again to slide under a corner of the square to be removed. Continue running the razor blade under the tint until the entire square has been removed from the window.
    • Clean the Glass Inside the Squared Area. Spray the uncovered glass inside the cut area, and use a new paper towel to wipe away all film or glue remnants.
