Upload 80 shorts. well, the youtube algorithm normally works off 3 things, Click Through Rate, Interactions, and most importantly Watch Time. If you are confident that a viewer will watch at least 50% of your longer video then I'd personally say go for it.

I do a huge variety of video lengths and the sweet spot for me is usually 12-15 minutes. I also do a video podcast on the same channel that is 1-2.5 hrs long which generally gets 3-12 mins of watch time on average.
