  5. yep, this sub always downvotes this opinion. Movie snape wasn't much like book snape at all. Obviously it's not a slight on Rickman's acting ability but more the direction they took Snape. He was just like a stoic sarcastic gloomy dude. In the book he was a fucking petty-ass bully who liked to tattle and overreach his authority.
