Kieran is a rival Pokemon Trainer introduced in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet's DLC, The Teal Mask. He is competitive, but extremely shy. He and his older sister Carmine are both your partners and rivals as you travel across Kitakami during The Teal Mask DLC main story. He also will appear in the second expansion, The Indigo Disc DLC.

Kieran is one of the prized students of Blueberry Academy, the school your Academy in Paldea collaborates with to explore the land of Kitakami. He is quiet, reserved, but loves Pokemon battles. He also is a huge fan of Ogrepon and the legends surrounding it, being the first character you meet to actually be sympathetic to the exiled creature. He is...

After fighting Carmine and being introduced to Mossui Town proper, Kieran will timidly request that you have a battle.

Sentret goes down with a hard hit from a Fighting-type, while Yanma can be hit with Fire-, Electric-, or Flying-type based attacks. Take out Yanma quickly before it can make itself a nuisance.

The second battle takes place at the second signpost you have to complete for your school assignment.

Like his entire persona, Kieran has a squad of understated Pokemon. Furret goes down with a Fighting-type assault, and Yanma once again can fall to Rock-, Fire-, or Electric-type moves. Make sure to take care of it quickly as well. Newcomer Poliwhirl is adorable, but can also go down to an Electric-type or possibly a Grass-type.

This battle takes place following the Kitakami Mask Festival at the third and final signpost you have to complete.

The biggest differences since the last time you fought Kieran are: his Poliwhirl is now a Poliwrath and susceptible to Flying-, Fairy-, and Psychic-type attacks in addition to Electric- and Grass-type attacks and he has a Dipplin.

Kieran will fight you at the shrine of the Loyal Three in a battle with much less friendly vibes than all the ones prior.

He begins this time with Yanma’s evolved form, Yanmega, so take it out just as quickly as before, even if it has a little more bulk. Gligar and Dipplin both have 4x weakness to Ice-type attacks, so that’s what’s best to take them down.

Before getting a chance to capture Ogrepon, Kieran demands one final battle in which his demeanor is noticeably different.

Kieran has shifted a member of his old team out in exchange for a couple of new ones. He’s got a new lead-ff Mon in Shiftry, who is also holding a Focus Sash and so will stay alive at least one more turn after you almost knock it out. It is 4x weak to Big-type attacks, but Fairy-, Fire-, and Ice-type attacks also work in a pinch.

Probopass is also a troublesome newcomer with Sturdy, so it will also withstand certain death throws at least once. At that, it’s holding a Petaya Berry, which will increase its special attack when its HP goes below ¼. Ground-type attacks work best, bur Water-types can work as well - just be wary that Probopass can learn lots of Electric-type attacks and will likely try for a Zap Cannon at some point.

The rest of the team should be ones you’re familiar with and have the same strategy for taking them down - Gliscor is new, but has the same typing as Gligar, meaning it and Dipplin still have 4x weaknesses to Ice-type attacks. Gliscor is also still weak to Water, while Dipplin is still weak to Fairy- and Dragon-types. Yanmega does down to Fire-, Ice-, or Electric-type moves, and Poliwrath has Electric-, Flying-, Fairy-, Grass, and Psychic-type moves to fear.

  3. 1 day ago · If you are having trouble getting a Galarian Yamask, you can usually find them during Halloween-themed events. You can also hatch Galarian Yamask from 7km Eggs received through Gifts or occasionally encounter them in One-Star Raids. Either way, you need to work hard to evolve them into Runerigus in Pokémon Go.

  4. His jealousy stops him from getting close to the pokemon he loves so much and that shows how immature he actually is (which makes sense since he is a literal child). His setup as a villain for the second DLC and the way this 2 characters are going to mature and evolve i think will be really interesting and something pretty new.

  5. The basics. Breeding occurs at the Pokémon Daycare. If two compatible Pokémon are left with the daycare lady, they will produce an egg. (The games are purposely vague about how this happens.) Pokémon are compatible for breeding if: They are not legendary Pokémon, baby Pokémon, Unown, Nidorina or Nidoqueen. They are of opposite genders.
