So to clarify, La Reina del Sur and Queen of the South are totally and completely different from each other. But LRDS is looooong. It only has three seasons but the seasons have about 60 episodes each. The first season is based on the novel, so it ended like the end of a story would. It had originally intended to end after season 1.
