Mar 16, 2021 · The communication process in the OSI/ISO model : In higher layers, each layer of the sender adds its information to the message received from above that layer and moves the entire package just below the layer as shown in the figure. Each layer added its information in the form of headers.
Feb 15, 2023 · When a message is sent, it is transmitted using the TCP protocol, which ensures that the packets are sent in the correct order and that any missing packets are re-sent. The recipient’s device uses the IP protocol to receive the packets and reassemble them into the original message. Once the message has been reassembled, it is passed to the ...

The first two models we will discuss, the transmission model and the interaction model, include the following parts: participants, messages, encoding, decoding, and channels. In communication models, the participants are the senders and/or receivers of messages in a communication encounter. The message is the verbal or nonverbal content being ...
Transmission Model of Communication. The Transmission Model of communication (see Figure 1.2) describes communication as a linear, one-way process in which a sender intentionally transmits a message to a receiver (Ellis & McClintock, 1990). This model focuses on the sender and the message within a communication encounter.
Step 3: Message Transmission: Choosing the medium to transmit the message is the next step in the communication process. Messages can be transmitted in a verbal, written, or visual manner (see Table 1). For clear communication to occur, the medium and message must match. Table 2.1: Message Transmission Mediums
