A closer look at the education journals revealed that the type of education journal (i.e., special or general education) was statistically significantly related to treatment fidelity reporting, X 2 (1, k = 122) = 6.23, p < .05, with journals identified primarily as special education journals reporting treatment fidelity at a higher rate (63%) than general education journals (40%).
