Mine was about 4 weeks, 40 hours of classtime/clinical per week. As long as you pay attention in class and do plenty of practice prior to the skills exam, its not that hard. Mostly just common sense stuff. There are videos on youtube that are very useful for what you need to know for the prometric skills exam.
A Clinical Skills Test consists of five scored skills. All candidates taking this test are scored on the Handwashing and Indirect Care skills. When you take your test, you will be given instructions for the other three skills that are part of your test.

You must actually perform the skills during the test. You do not need to ask if the resident wants care. The skills must be performed in the order they are listed on the card. You may read the skills instruction card at any time during your test.

The Clinical Skills Test consist of five (5) scored skills. All candidates testing will be scored on Handwashing and Required Essential Skills (RES). Three additional skills will be provided for you to perform during your Clinical Skills Evaluation.
A few days before the test day, set aside 10-20 minutes a day for CNA skills test practice. In this time, practice introducing yourself. Take time going over each of the 30 skills and practice explaining each procedure as you would explain them to a patient.
