Aug 10, 2007 · Atari ST and PC use very similar floppy formats, but not same, and it causes confusion and problems. General advice is this: format floppy on PC to 720KB, and it will be perfectly usable on Atari ST, any TOS version.
If using TOS 1.02 or earlier, you must either format the disk on a PC, use preformatted PC disks, or use a DOS compatible formatter on the ST. Choose a PC format compatible with the Atari drive, ie: 720K for double sided drives and 1.44M for HD drives.

Jun 19, 2022 · Initially so they're at least readable in an emulator but eventually convert to a format I can read on a modern PC. Some of these documents are on floppies and some are on an external hard drive. Copy some applications and game disks to image files that will work on an emulator or my Mister FPGA.
